Description
A fine Chupicuaro tripod bowl from Mexico, c. 300 - 100 BC. This unusual example is 4-1/2" in diameter and has a highly burnished chocolate-brown surface. It is decorated with two bands of incised triangular designs, a feature rarely found on this type. Nice dendrites and extensive trails inside and out. Ex Natanya Selman estate.
