A plump little Colima dog, West Mexico, c. 300 BC - AD 300, with large belly, head slightly to the right with incised eyes and mouth. L: 9 ½”, H: 6 3/8”. A well-crafted example and perhaps representing a pregnant female. Intact with colorful mineral deposits throughout. Ex J.R. Collection.
