Description

A fine Jalisco Pensador figure from West Mexico, ca. 200 BC - 300 AD. This seated male is 4" high and is depicted in the characteristic position, resting his chin on the left knee, with the right leg tucked under the body. He is wearing a striped headdress and is adorned with the characteristic nose and ear ornaments. Nicely sculpted, with good paint and strong dendrites. Ex Clarence Sato collection.
