KINGS OF ELYMIAS. Phraates. Early 2nd century AD. Æ Drachm (3.80 gm; 17 mm). Diademed and draped bust facing; in field right, crescent with star over anchor / Artemis standing right, holding bow and drawing arrow. Van't Haaff Type 14.1.1-2C; Alram 475; BMC 48-52. Lovely strike on a large broad flan. Sharply struck in great strike. Nice reddish patina. Choice Superb EF. Exceptional quality for this common type.
