SASANIAN KINGS. Vahram (Bahram) V. AD 420-438. AR drachm (4.22 g; 28 mm). GW mint, located in Kirman province. Bust of Vahram on floral ornament right, wearing mural crown with frontal crescent and korymbos. Rev. Fire altar with ribbons, flanked by two attendants, inscription “ gw ” to left of flames; illegible inscriptions to right and left of the altar shaft. SNS Ib1/1. Choice AU. Fully lustrous. Scarce.
