SASANIAN KINGS. Vahram (Bahram) V. AD 420-438. AR drachm (4.22 g; 27 mm). LYW (Rev-Ardashir) mint. Bust right, wearing mural crown with korymbos set on crescent. Rev. Fire altar flanked by two attendants, “ lyw ” to left and crescent to right of flames; “ ’tš ” to right, “ vrhr’n “ to left, and “ l’st : true ” on altar shaft. Gobl SN I/1.SNS Ib1/1. Choice AU. Fully lustrous. Lightly toned. Scarce.
