KINGS of PERSIS. Baydad (Bagadat). Early 3rd. Century BC. AR drachm (3.92 gm; 18 mm). Head right, with short beard, moustache, and earring, wearing kyrbasia with flaps tied behind / Baydad enthroned left, wearing long cloak and kyrbasia, holding scepter and cup; standard to inner left. K&M -; Alram 512; Sunrise 558. Unpublished and unique type with Lion forepart at King's feet on reverse. Choice EF. Toned. Extremely rare.
