KINGS of PERSIS. Vadfradad (Autophradates) II. Early-mid 2nd century BC. AR Obol (0.68 gm; 9 mm). Head right, with short beard, wearing diadem and kyrbasia surmounted by eagle / Fire temple, Ahura-Mazda above; to left, Vadfradad standing right; standard to right. K&M 3/4; Alram 549; Sunrise 577. Superb strike on a nice full flan. Choice Superb EF. Nice old-cabinet toning. Lovely example.
