Cuneiform Tablet. Babylon, Isin Dynasty, sealed in name of Bur-Suen, King, 1831-1811 BC. Reported found in Jokha. Sealed cuneiform clay tablet recording donation of four oxen to temple for sacrifice. Seal impression of king seated holding cup with four bands of cuneiform behind in name of Bur-Suen. 45x42 mm. Intact and Choice. Rare dynasty following fall of Ur III. ex. E Heater collection (1916); with copy of letter detailing providence.
