Faience Ushabti. Egypt, XXVI Dynasty, 664-525 BC. Light blue glazed faience mummiform figure, bearded, holding crook and flail, with band of heiroglyphs in ink on back: “Osiris, priest of Neith (Patron goddess of the city of Sais), Wah-jib-Re”. 2.75” long. Intact. Choice with very clear heiroglyphs. Superb detail.
