THRACE. Koson, 44-42 BC. Gold Stater (8.28 gm). Roman consul and two lictors walking / Eagle standing, holding wreath. RPC.1701a. Near Mint. A wonderful well-struck example from fresh dies. Copies the coinage of Brutus and likely is the coins mentioned in Appian as struck from his treasures.
