ROMAN EMPIRE: Lucius Verus, 161-169. Sestertius (Orichalcum, 32 mm, 25.35 g, 6 h). Obverse: IMP CAES L AVREL VERVS AVG Bare head of Lucius Verus to right. Reverse: CONCORD AVGVSTOR TR P II / S - C / COS II Marcus Aurelius, togate on the left, and Lucius Verus, togate on the right, standing facing each other and clasping their right hands; in his left hand, Marcus Aurelius holds a scroll. BMC 1023 note. Cohen 36. RIC 1308. Minor corrosion spots, otherwise, VF.
