England, CNUT (1016–35) Silver penny, Pointed helmet type 1023–9 London. Moneyer: Leofred, 1.03 gms; 19 mm. Bust left wearing pointed helmet. Sceptre in front. +CNVT RECX?·.· / Voided short cross. In centre a circle enclosing a pellet. Broken annulets with large pellets in angles of cross. +LEOFREDONLVND. North 787. Very Fine but rather weak on obverse and small central crack.
