PHOENICIA. Sidon. Elagabalus. 218-222 AD. Æ 25mm (11.68 g). Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / Car of Astarte: cult xoanon, flanked on either side by small figure, within ornate tetrastyle canopy, set on two-wheeled base; four palms emerging from roof of structure. BMC Phoenicia pg. 185, 249; AUB 255; SNG Copenhagen 256 var. Nice VF, brown patina with some minor green deposits.
