TRAJAN. 98-117 AD. Æ Sestertius (33mm - 24.41 g). Rome mint. Struck 115 AD. IMP CAES NER TRAIANO OPTIMO AVG GER DAC P M TR P COS VI P P, laureate and draped bust right / IMPERATOR VIIII and SC in two lines in exergue, Trajan seated right on platform, placed on left, accompanied by two officers and addressing five soldiers standing left before. RIC II 658; BMCRE 1019; Woytek 549v; BN 844. EF, mostly green patina but with some rough breaks in the patina revealing a reddish toned metal below, fine style. Housed in and NGC slab where graded XF, 5/2.
