Description

ROMAN EMPIRE: Licinius I, AE Follis, AD 308-324 (20mm, 3.72g, 2h). Siscia mint, 5th officina. Struck AD 315-316. Obverse: Laureate head right. Reverse: Jupiter standing left, holding Victory standing on globe, and scepter; at feet to left, eagle standing left, head right, holding wreath in beak; –/?//SIS . RIC VII 8. Brown patina, small areas of flat strike. Mint state with very lovely detail on reverse.
