Description
Cilicia, Seleukeia. 2nd-1st centuries B.C. Æ (21 mm, 6.36 g, 12 h). Head of Athena right, wearing Corinthian helmet; behind, monogram / ΣEΛEVKEΩN TΩN ΠPOΣ TΩI KAΛVKAΔNΩI, Nike advancing left, holding wreath; in left field, two monograms. SNG BN 911; cf. SNG Levante 680-9 (controls). Nice green patina. Very fine.
