Description
Seleukid Kingdom. Antiochos IV Epiphanes. 175-164 B.C. Æ (17 mm, 3.08 g, 1 h). Byblos. Radiate and draped bust of Antiochos IV right / ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΑΝΤΙΟΧΟΥ, and '[belonging] to Holy Gebal' in Phoenician, Isis standing left, holding scepter. SC 1445; HGC 9, 698. Attractive green patina with earthen deposits. Well centered and rare this nice. Very fine.
