A lot of 4 Egyptian faience amulets, Late Period, c. 664 - 30 BC. Lot includes a large blue faience amulet of the god Bes, wearing tall feathered headdress, L: 40mm; a pale blue faience amulet of the sky god Shu, L: 19mm; a nice blue faience amulet of the goddess Bastet, wearing tight-fitting dress and holding a sceptre to her breast, L: 37mm; and a faience amulet of the goddess Hathor, L: 40mm. Some minor loss to the headdress of Hathor, the other all intact. Ex Negus collection, UK, acquired in the early 20th Century.
