Lot 299: ANTIQUITIES, A lot of 4 Egyptian Scarabs and Plaques

A lot of 4 Egyptian Scarabs and Plaques. Lot includes a New Kingdom faience plaque with an ‘ankh’ on one side and ‘nefer’ and ‘Ma’at’ signs on the other, 9 x 7mm; a New Kingdom steatite plaque with decorated back, on base two stylized seated gods, 14 x 10mm; a 2nd Intermediate steatite scarab with nicely carved body, on base the ‘en-re’ formula between red crowns, 15 x 11mm; and the last New Kingdom steatite scarab with ‘Amen-Re’ device on base, 12 x 9mm. Each is intact. Ex Negus Collection, UK, acquired in the early 20th Century.
