A Jemdet Nasr seal in the form of a reclining bull, c. 3100 - 2900 BC, limestone, the eyes formed by drill-holes, the horns curving forward. On base, drilled stylized quadrupeds. 50 x 38mm. Intact, some light weathering and areas of deposits. Old repair down center. Ex Los Angeles private collection.
