Description
Phrygia, Hierapolis. Pseudo-autonomous issue. 2nd century A.D. Æ (32 mm, 15.79 g, 6 h). Laureate bust of youthful Demos right, slight drapery on far shoulder / Youthful Zeus seated on horseback right, holding bipennis. SNG von Aulock 3635; SNG Copenhagen -; BMC 69. Dark green patina with light sandy deposits, small pit on reverse. Very fine.
