Macedonian Kingdom. Kassander. 316-297 B.C. Æ (18 mm, 5.75 g, 11 h). Pella or Amphipolis, 306/5-297 B.C. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion's skin headdress / BAΣIΛE[ΩΣ] K-AΣΣ-A-NΔ-P[O]Y, youth on horseback right, crowning horse with wreath; in right field, monogram. SNG Alpha Bank 905; cf. Oeconomos 42; cf. Draganov 555-7. Attractive greenish-brown patina. Dimple on chin. Good very fine.
