Cilicia, Tarsos. 164-27 B.C. Æ (26 mm, 14.58 g, 12 h). Ortygothera, Maxi... and Nikola..., magistrates. Tyche, turreted and veiled, seated right, holding grain ears; below, river-god Orontes swimming right; behind, [OPTV/ΓOΘ]H/PA / [Τ]ΑΡΣΕΩΝ, Zeus seated left, holding Nike and scepter; below throne, eagle standing right; in left field, MAΞI above NIKO/ΛA in two lines. SNG BN 1383 (same dies); SNG Levante 983 (this coin). Green patina. Nearly very fine.
