Cappadocian Kingdom. Ariarathes VII Philometor. Ca. 106-101/0 B.C. AR drachm (18 mm, 4.10 g, 12 h). Mint B (Eusebeia-Tyana). Diademed head of Ariarathes VII right / ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΑΡΙΑΡΑΘΟΥ ΦΙΛΟΜΗΤΟΡΟΣ, Athena standing left, holding Nike and resting hand on grounded shield set behind her; spear held in crook of arm; in inner left field, O/M; in inner right field, Λ; in exergue, Θ. Mørkholm issue 5; Simonetta 5; SNG Copenhagen suppl. 776-83. Lightly toned and well centered. Very fine.
