Seleukid Kingdom. Antiochos VII Euergetes. 138-129 B.C. AR tetradrachm (26 mm, 16.13 g, 12 h). Cappadocian mint, posthumous issue. Diademed head right / BAΣIΛEΩΣ ANTIOXOY EYEP-ΓETOY, Athena standing left, holding Nike and resting hand on grounded shield ornamented with a gorgoneion; leaning against arm, spear; in outer left field, monogram above A; in inner left field, Τ; in inner right field, Λ; all within laurel wreath. SC 2150.1. Numerous obverse scratches. Very fine.
