Phoenicia, Tyre. 126 B.C.-A.D 65 AR shekel (29 mm, 13.67 g, 12 h). Civic year 47 (80/79 B.C.). Laureate bust of Melkart right / [TY]PIOY IEPAΣ [KAI AΣYΛOY], eagle standing left on prow, palm on right wing; ZM (date) above club to left, Δ to right, Phoenician letter between legs. Rouvier 2030; cf. BMC 139 (monogram on reverse). Light porosity. Very fine.
