Sasanian Kingdom. Hormizd II. A.D. 303-309. AR drachm (27 mm, 4.26 g, 3 h). Bust of Hormizd II right, wearing eagle crown with korymbos / Fire altar with ribbons and bust right in flames; flanked by two attendants, the left wearing winged crown with korymbos, the other wearing mural crown. SNS type Ia/3e; Göbl type Ia/1a; Sunrise 815 var. (bust left in flames). Obverse just a touch soft. Good very fine.
