Obverse: The Roman army, under the command of Marcus Minucius Rufus, is engaged in battle with the Carthaginian army, Fabius rushing to their aid with his half of the Roman army. VENGEANCE SACRIFIEE AU BIEN PUBLIC (= vengeance sacrificed for the public good), dated AR 535 (= 219 B.C.). Choice UNC. Lightly toned.
