TABERISTAN, Khurshid, (115-142 AH). year 100. Silver Hemidrachm (2.04 gm; 25 mm). Sasanian bust to the right, name in Pahlavi in front of face, phrase APD in Pahlavi in the second quarter, dot at the wings above crown, Reverse: fire altar with attendants, mint “TPURSTAN (Tabaristan)” on the right. Dot on the crown on the obverse, always rare with dots, scarce year. Choice AU. Lustrous.
