An unusual Colima incensario from West Mexico, c. 300 BC – 300 AD. This cylindrical piece is 6-3/8” high and depicts a pair of human figures emerging from openings in the wall. With burning incense on the interior, they would appear to be coming out of a smoky fire or guarding the entrance to a fiery Underworld. Good mineral deposits. Ex Arnold collection. Value range: $350 - $500
