A fine Nayarit figure from West Mexico, c. 200 BC – 300 AD. This seated female is 6-1/4” high and is typical of the San Sebastian style. She is portrayed bent forward with hands resting on the hips and is adorned with the characteristic multiple ear ornaments, nose ring and elaborately incised coif. Strong mineral deposits and encrustation. Ex Bick estate. Value range: $250 - $400
