Description
A pair of Maya orange-ware vessels, c. AD 600 - 900. The first is a nice kero with three raised bands with stylized animal heads. Intact with good age deposits. H: 4 7/8” (12.4 cm). The second vessel an orange-ware melon bowl. Dia: 5 ½” (13.9 cm). Both vessels intact with earthen deposits. Ex Los Angeles private collection. Value range $350 - $450.
