Description
A nice faience figure of Duamutef, Late Period, c. 664 – 30 BC, one of the ‘Four Sons of Horus”, with light blue-green color and very nice detail. He is depicted mummiform with the head of a jackal and guarded the stomach. H: 49mm. Intact and a choice example. Ex Cecil Best collection, London (1882 – 1973). Value range $500 - $700.
