Eastern Europe, Imitating Thasos. Late 2nd-1st centuries B.C. AR tetradrachm (35 mm, 16.75 g, 11 h). Wreathed head of youthful Dionysos right / ΗΡΑΚΛΕΟΥΣ ΣΩΤΗΡΟΣ ΘΑΣΙΩΝ, Herakles standing facing, head left, holding grounded club, lion's skin draped over arm; in inner left field, MH monogram. Kostial 956-8; OTA class I; CCCBM I 220-1. Toned, puncture marks (one drilled) on reverse.
