Description
Sicily, Syracuse. Dionysios I. 405-367 B.C. Æ hemilitron (15 mm, 3.09 g, 1 h). Ca. 405-400 B.C. Head of nymph left, wearing ampyx and sphendone; behind, dolphin / ΣΥ-ΡΑ, wheel of four spokes; two dolphins between lower spokes. CNS 20; SNG ANS 411. Green patina with light earthen deposits. Nearly extremely fine.
