KINGS of PARTHIA. Phraates IV. 38-2 BC. AR Drachm (3.38 gm; 20 mm). Diademed bust left, wart on forehead, wearing segmented necklace with medallion; before, star in crescent; behind, eagle flying left, crowning Phraates with wreath / Archer (Arsakes I) seated right on throne, holding bow; monogram below bow. Sellwood 54.9; Shore 299 ; Sunrise 396. Lovely strike on a nice broad flan. Choice FDC. Toned. Great example for this issue. Very rare this nice.
