KINGS of ELYMIAS. Phraates. Early-mid 2nd century AD. Æ drachm (2.46 gm; 14 mm). Bust facing, wearing ornamented tiara; to right, pellet–in–crescent above anchor with single cross bar / Eagle with wings spread standing left. Van’t Haaff Type 14.2, Subtype 1–2A. Lovely strike. Nice original green earthen patina. Choice VF. Rare.
