Macedonian Kingdom. Philip II. 359-336 B.C. AV stater (16 mm, 5.63 g, 6 h). Pella. Head of Apollo right, wearing laurel wreath / ΦΙΛΙΠΠΟΥ, Charioteer, holding kentron and reins, driving biga right; below, kantharos. Cf. Le Rider pl. 57, 133ff.. Several light abrasions and scratches. Very fine.
