Macedonian Kingdom. Alexander III 'the Great'. 336-323 B.C. Æ 1/2 unit (16 mm, 4.23 g, 11 h). Amphipolis, struck under Antipater, ca. 325-323/2 B.C. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion's skin headdress / ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ, eagle standing right on thunderbolt, head left. Price 158. Dark green patina. Very fine.
