Description
Islands off Lakonia, Kythera. Ca. 100-50 B.C. Æ (16 mm, 4.32 g, 7 h). Head of Aphrodite right, wearing stephane and earring / Dove flying right. BCD Peloponnesos 998; SNG Copenhagen 624; De Hirsch 1356; BMC 2. Very rare. Dark green and brown patina, some roughness. Very fine.
