IMP TRAIANO AVG GER DAC P M TR P COS V P P, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / S P Q R OPTIMO PRINCIPI, Mars standing facing, head turned right, holding spear in right hand, left hand set on shield supported by Dacian captive. RIC II 158; Woytek 219f; BMCRE 161; RSC 376. Good VF, light toning, nice flan, attractive style.

It has just been noticed that there is an "R" shaped scratch before Trajan's face on this coin. It's not very notiiceable in hand, but it clearly shows in the photo. The coin is still quite attractive in hand.
