HADRIAN. 117-138 AD. AR Denarius (19mm - 3.33 g). Rome mint. HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS, laureate bust right, slight drapery on left shoulder / COS III, Neptune standing left, right foot on prow, holding acrostolium in right hand, trident in left. RIC II 158; BMCRE 354; RSC 309 (this coin illustrated). Good VF, attractive old cabinet toning.
