Sasanian Kingdom. Peroz I. A.D. 457-484. AR drachm (28 mm, 4.03 g, 3 h). AT mint. Crowned bust of Peroz I right, crescent on forehead / Fire altar with attendants and ribbon, star and crescent flanking flames; “Peroz†in Pahlavi to left, mint to right. SNS Type IIIa/Ie; Göbl III/1. Well struck and well centered on a nice flan. Nice extremely fine.
