NERO CLAVD CAESAR AVG GERMANICVS, bare head of Nero right, small globe at point of bust / PONTIF MA TR P IMP P P, S C in exergue, Roma seated left on cuirass, holding wreath in right hand, left elbow resting on helmet set on a shield. RIC 426; WCN 606; BMC -; BN -. A very rare variety, listed as R2 in RIC. Brown surfaces, a bit porous. Nearly very fine.
