Hadrian. A.D. 117-138. AR denarius (18 mm, 3.43 g, 8 h). Rome, A.D. 118. IMP CAESAR TRAIAN HADRIANVS AVG, laureate bust of Hadrian right, aegis on far shoulder / P M TR P C-OS II, IVSTITIA in exergue, Justitia seated left, holding patera and scepter. Cf. RIC 42 (bust); BMC 74, note; RSC 877b. Rare bust type for the issue. Very subtle golden toning. Good very fine.
