IMP ALEXAN-DER PIVS AVG, laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Severus Alexander right / IOVI PROPVGNATORI, S C across field, Jupiter standing slight left, head right, preparing to hurl thunderbolt. RIC 628; BMC 794; Cohen 79. Dark brown and green patina. Light porosity, edge split. Nearly very fine.
