Gordian III. A.D. 238-244. Æ sestertius (29 mm, 19.49 g, 12 h). Rome, A.D. 239. IMP CAES GORDIANVS PIVS AVG, laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Gordian III right, seen from behind / CONCORDIA AVG, S C in exergue, Concordia seated left, holding patera in right hand, double cornucopia in left. RIC 278a; Cohen 54. Attractive. Dark grayish-brown patina. Good very fine.
