Aurelian. A.D. 270-275. Æ denarius (20 mm, 2.50 g, 6 h). Rome, 11th emission, A.D. 275. IMP C AVRELI-ANVS AVG, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Aurelian right / VICTORIA AVG, Victory walking left, holding wreath in right hand, palm in left; captive before; Z. Cf. RIC 72 (officina); BN -. Nearly fully silvered, strike a bit soft in centers, small flan crack. Nearly extremely fine.

This obverse legend and bust variety is only recorded from officinae A and B. There is an issue from officina Z but with a cuirassed bust only and the obverse legend IMP AVRELIANVS AVG.
