Description
Bulgaria, Second Empire. Ivan Aleksandar. 1331-1371. AR grosh (17 mm, 0.75 g, 6 h). Imitative issue. Christ standing facing before seat, raising hands in praise / Ivan Aleksandar and Mihail Asen IV standing facing, each holding cross-tipped scepter, holding Christogram-tipped staff between them; monograms across field; stars flanking base of staff. Interesting style. Toned. Good very fine.

The monograms on the reverse of this coin are switched from their usual position, with the "Mikhail" monogram on the outer left and the "faithful" monogram on the right.
